The Apartment
The apartment is located in the east wing of Rhinefield House and has breathtaking views over the historic gardens and forest. The luxury accommodation comprises two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and living room.
Rhinefield House
The magnificent Rhinefield House, a pastiche Tudor mansion, has only existed in its current form since 1887, although parts of it date back to 1653, and people have resided there since William the Conqueror proclaimed the 'New Forest' in 1097. The house was developed into a hotel with conference facilities and several luxury apartments in 1980s.
Inside the house, there are many opulent public rooms, including the Great hall—a replica of Westminster Hall—and the Alhambra Room, created in the style of a Moorish palace with Islamic inscriptions, inlaid brass, onyx pillars and mosaic flooring, which now forms part of the Armada Restaurant.
The Gardens
Rhinefield House is set in acres of formal gardens—complete with lawns, terraces, ornamental pond and maze—and informal woodland, and is reached by a long sweeping drive of Canadian Redwood, Copper Beech trees and rhododendron bushes.
